The call for speakers for our upcoming SQLSaturday Vienna (which happens on April, 1st 2016 if you have not registered so far) closed during holiday seasons.
We had an overall number of 111 submissions from 46 different people coming from 15 countries (if you look at the #SQLSatVienna site, you’ll see 115 sessions listed – those include the precons and a lightning talk session [we needed to add them to the create the electronic schedule]). As you’ve maybe recognized I like to work and analyze data with Power BI. And I did a quick analysis of the submitted sessions.
The highest number of submissions came from the UK whereas we only had one submission from Hungary. The number of submissions per person ranged from 1 to maximum 5 session proposals.
The majority of submissions were proposals for regular (60 minutes) sessions and – we had one submission for the “please do not use” session-type .
And finally – yes finally we have compiled the schedule for the event. We are sure that you’ll like the schedule and we hope to see you in Vienna on 1st, April. Do not forget about the pre-cons [Power BI with Alberto Ferarri and Performance Tuning with Brent Ozar].
