I’ve already described the basic concept of Analyzing Power BI models in Excel in a previous post. What I found out today is that drill through to source data is already available!
Starting with an Excel pivot table based on a Power BI model, there is an option called “Show Details” which enables drill through to source data.
The action itself opens a new Excel sheet containing the source data (by default the first 1000 rows are extracted) –> Excel built-in drill through!
